A bombshell new documentary on Michael Jackson claims his death was inevitable and there were multiple people to blame –  not just his personal physician, Conrad Murray.

TMZ Investigates: Who Really Killed Michael Jackson makes the startling allegation that the singer used 19 fake IDs to score drugs prior to his death on 25 June 2009.

In the documentary, detective Orlando Martinez from the Los Angeles police department says he believes the beloved King of Pop's death from a drug-induced heart attack at his home in Los Angeles was bound to happen.

“Circumstances had been leading up to his death for years and all these different medical professionals had allowed Michael to dictate his own terms, get the medicines he wanted when he wanted them, where he wanted them. All of them are the reason why he’s dead today,” he says.

Although he doesn't think it's fair that Murray was the only one punished for the singer’s death, he says it was incredibly difficult to prove others were to blame.

“It was tough to get other experts within the medical profession to help the case at the time, since they didn’t want to get involved.”

Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for administering the final dose of propofol (a powerful sleeping sedative) that killed Michael. His medical license was also revoked.

In 2013 he was released from prison after serving half of his four-year sentence.

Speaking in the doccie, Murray (69) says “it’s not right” that he had to shoulder the blame.

He says he was “manipulated” by Michael, who never told him he was suffering from an addiction when he was hired in 2006.

Murray says Michael had long been dependent on propofol, which he called "milk", to help him sleep and that he actually tried to wean him off the drug.

“It was the only way he could sleep, especially when he was getting ready for a tour. But it was not a big deal, he’d been using it for decades. Different doctors had given it to him from all around the world . . . and they allowed him to sometimes inject the medicine.”

According to Ed Winter, the former coroner at the LA police department, Michael was taking “Gatorade-size” bottles of propofol and when he died, he had enough of it in his system to put a rhino to sleep.

Dr Harry Glassman, MJ’s plastic surgeon, is also interviewed in the documentary, which will be broadcast in the US later this month.

Glassman says the star would go “doctor shopping” in order to get access to various drugs.

“He had multiple different doctors he was involved with and he would go to Doctor A and ask for a sedative and then he’d go to Doctor B and ask for the same one. Michael is responsible, to a great extent, for his own demise, but he certainly had a lot of help from the medical community.”

Michael's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe (63), also feels responsible for his death.

She met Michael while she was working as an assistant to top dermatologist Arnold Klein, who doled out strong painkillers to Michael and others.

Debbie, who is the mother of his older children Prince and Paris Jackson, says she should have done more to try and save him.

“I should have done something and I didn’t. In some way I was part of it.”
